Cassette Playa x Nike Sportswear Varsity Jacket
Aside from designing a new sneaker with Nike Sportswear this season, Cassette Playa also created a varsity jacket in the brand’s trademark bold and graphically-rich aesthetic. The jacket features mis-matched leather sleeves on a blue wool body. Throughout the jacket are a number of patches as well as a back-embroidery that reads “SINCE THE APOCALYPSE FEAR NO EVIL”. "Hurt"
so much pain, that's goin' on
wakin' up, no alarm
midnight screams and cries, anybody would know it's wrong
tear came through my eye once i found out that it was mom
covered with my sheets, prayin' that she don't get harmed
opposite of peace, i should peek, at least, to see what's goin' on
so i stood up, looked at my bro
thinkin' twice, if i should go
goosebumps spreadin' all over my skin like vitiligo
shakin' everywhere 'bout to do somethin' i never did before
i'm feelin' nautious as i'm walkin' to the door
rushed in the room, saw her lyin' on the floor
now there i was, just shocked
and there he was, must watch
and there i am, cryin' helplessly
waterfall on my face sayin' God can you help us please
don't know if he gets joy, don't know if he gets galore
I've been hurt before
but it always seems when you see your parents hurt, it always hurts you more
and it's strange too
cause you always think parents can't get hurt, but this moment changed who
i am today
we've been doing great
ever since he got deported away
that crazy alcoholic, i'm just glad that he's gone
now we're livin' the life that we've been missin' all along
no more violence, just calmness
thank God my brother didn't have to live through all this
